CPVC TRIM ADHESIVE RECEIVES GREENGUARD® CERTIFICATION
DANVERS, MA — Devcon TrimBonder™ adhesive has been certified by the GREENGUARD® Environmental Institute under the institute’s stringent air-quality standards. Certified under the GREENGUARD Children & SchoolsSM program, the adhesive qualifies as a low-emissions building material suitable for indoor use, including use for educational, healthcare, residential, and commercial environments where children or sensitive adults spend extended periods of time.
Versatile TrimBonder™ structural adhesive bonds all major brands of CPVC board, wood, fiberglass, vinyl, urethane, rigid plastics, composites, aluminum, stainless steel, masonry, and other surfaces. It can be used to permanently join or laminate sections of trim, columns, or cornerboards; for bonding aluminum cleats to PVC window/door trim moldings; and for filling nail holes.
TrimBonder™ cures to a clean, smooth, paintable finish without sanding.UV-stable and waterproof, TrimBonder™ withstands harsh weather without shrinking or discoloring and is ideal for OEMs that laminate or fabricate posts, pilasters, pediments, “gingerbread” trim, cupolas, and other architectural elements as well as outdoor structures such as arbors, trellises, pergolas, and garden sheds.
TrimBonder™ adhesive is available in 200 ml and 400 ml cartridges as well as in bulk pails. It is also available in the TrimBonder™ Nail Hole Filler Kit, which facilitates the filling of nail holes and gaps by contractors and millwork shops. The kit includes a convenient, lightweight 50 ml applicator, four nozzles, and two 50 ml cartridges.
